Let me fill you in on what we did today. First, I came in to the gym and sat down and talked to some of my friends. Then, when Mrs. Truby got to school she walk into the gym and said,"Trubyville" and then she said, "Grannel". Next, we all went up to our lockers to up pack. Then,we went in and did our morning sheet. After, the morning sheet Mrs. Truby talked to us and said, " That we were going to watch the inauguration with Mrs.Grannel's class. At 9:10 we went to library. In library we checked out books an learned about library catolag. In library I had to help some of my friends because they did not get the paper that we did last week. When library was finished Mrs.Truby said,"To head down to recess." At recess I went and play on the tired swing with Megan, Erin, and Kasey. Then, I went and talked to Mrs.T. When the first graders came out for lunch recess Mrs.T. started to talk to the first grade teacher. Then, my friend Kasey came over ask if I would like to play connect four. So we played. then we got tired of it so we played rock paper scissors. After recess we came in and had snack and cookie cake. At 12:05 some of my friends and I went to independent singers. Independent singers is when some of us go 10 minutes early to lunch and skip recess to practice for a show we have coming up. After singers some of us went to study hall and some of us went to band. I used to be in band, but I quit because I did not like it. In study hall you are allowed to work on any homework that you might have to do later like at home. In study hall you are ONLY allowed to read, study, or finish work. NO TALKING!!!!!!!!!! After study hall and band we graded what is called D.O.L. D.O.L is when our teacher gives us a sheet of sentences that are not proper English. When you get the sheet you are expected to do then on Sunday. If you do not have them corrected and written then you miss them or if you have not had your free be you get to go out in the forum and right them. Then we did math. In math we are studying fractions.what I mean by fractions is that we are subtracting and adding mixed and improper fractions. In the next chapter we are going to be multiplying and dividing mixed and improper fractions. The reason we are working so much on this chapter because we have a test on Thursday. Next we went to music. In music we are studying Alladen We did not study Alladen. We got to listen to the music to Bugsy Malon. We have a show coming up in February so thats why we were listening to the music. Finally, it was time to go home after a long long long long long long long long day at school. TTYL
